Objectives and Expected Results
- To facilitate, strengthen and assure effectiveness of decision making for development of the country;
- To be a national tool at the service of PANA II implementation and monitoring;
- To serve the country as an international point of entry, particularly in the sub-region where it belongs.
The EIS must allow for:
- the access of decision makers and users to a rich, reliable and updated environmental information;
- a synergy of efforts engaged in the environmental area ;
- a better coordination between information producers;
- an improvement in the flow of information;
- the creation of an information exchange platform among all environment actors in Cape Verde.
