All institutions that, through their higher representative or someone delegated by him have signed the EIS Protocol of Understanding are considered EIS Partners. Following membership, the new partner may join the Forum.

The five Partner Categories

According to what has been established in the 21 June workshop, and as referred to in the Protocol of Understanding, five categories of partners have been established. Each of them contributes with one representative in the EIS Management and Monitoring Committee (CGS) :

• Central Power;
• Local Power;
• Civil Society Organizations;
• Education and Research Institutions;
• Social Communication Organs.
